Gays launch hate attack against Mormons because of their support for traditional marriage
Thank the LDS church for its support of Proposition 8
Homosexual activists have launched a hate campaign against the Mormons because of the church's support for Proposition 8 in California. Prop 8 defined marriage as being between a man and a woman. Here are some examples of how gays are targeting Mormons:

Did you know that United Methodist apportionment dollars are funding a church-led campaign in support of more illegal immigration? This Fall, the United Methodist Board of Church and Society, our church’s $5 million political lobby office in Washington, D.C., is organizing a series of seminars speaking against our nation’s immigration laws. Several of our bishops will enthusiastically participate. UM Action needs your help right now to counter this lopsided radical political witness from our own UMC lobby office. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by November 30. This will enable UM Action to send staff to uncover these radical activities, publish our ...<< MORE >>

There are growing concerns over who Barack Obama may have in mind for the U.S. Supreme Court. Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute, or C-FAM, is taking a look at potential Supreme Court nominees, since president-elect Obama will fill at least one chair and perhaps more. C-FAM spokesman Piero Tozzi takes a look at one strong candidate, Yale Law School dean Harold Hongju Koh. Tozzi believes he would be dangerous to American interests.
"Dean Koh [has a] penchant for using foreign law sources, and he has argued in amicus briefs and law review articles in favor of importing foreign decisions into ...<< MORE >>

A home school legal advocate is disturbed by the recent actions of a social worker in Florida. According to Kris Klicka of the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), a social worker in Miami, Florida, overstepped the boundary of law when she demanded to interview a home schooler's children. He says the social worker showed up at the family's home when the father was at work — and out of fear and intimidation, the mother let the social worker into the home to interview her children, even though the worker neither had a warrant nor would disclose why she was there.

What Can We Do When Boys Will Be Girls? Since he could speak, Brandon, now 8, has insisted that he was meant to be a girl. This summer, his parents decided to let him grow up as one. His case, and a rising number of others like it, illuminates a heated scientific debate about the nature of gender—and raises troubling questions about whether the limits of child indulgence have stretched too far.Brandon and other “transgendered” children and adults are convinced in spite of physical and genetic evidence that they have been “born in ...<< MORE >>

1.2 Million Reasons for the IRD Some argue that Protestant Mainline churches are nothing but sinking ships. That the influence of churches like the Episcopal, United Methodist, and Presbyterian Church (USA) on American culture has waned to complete irrelevancy. That no one cares what they have to say or thinks they are important in a national debate. I can think of 1.2 million reasons for saying that these arguments are wrong. The San Francisco-based Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund has committed $1.2 million to LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgendered) advocacy groups within mainline denominations.. These groups are working under the guise of tolerance to redefine ...<< MORE >>

This coming year should be exciting and event filled for American and for The United Methodist Church. Our Council of Bishops was meeting last week, during the election, and reacted with excitement to Barack Obama's victory, some of the bishops event shouting Obama's slogan: "Yes we can!" Meanwhile the new boards of directors for our United Methodist Church lobby office on Capitol Hill and for our missions agency both met last month. The Board of Church and Society is already making plans for its promotion of abortion rights. Please see the special report by my assistant Rebekah Sharpe. Unfortunately, the General Conference this year narrowly failed to ...<< MORE >>

The senior U.S. senator from the Empire State has added his voice to a growing chorus of Democratic lawmakers seeking to bring back the policy ironically referred to as the "Fairness Doctrine."
During an Election Day interview on Fox News, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-New York) took a jab at critics of the Fairness Doctrine, and suggested radio stations should be required to be "fair and balanced."
"The very same people who don't want the Fairness Doctrine want the FCC to limit pornography on the air," Schumer stated. "I am for that. I think pornography ...<< MORE >>
LOS ANGELES - Homosexuals and their supporters in California are vowing to fight the passage of a state constitutional amendment that defines marriage as only between a man and a woman.
Even as the last votes were being counted, the American Civil Liberties Union and other opponents of Proposition 8 filed a challenge with the state Supreme Court. They contended that it cannot be used to undermine one group's access to rights enjoyed by other citizens. (Read earlier story: "Major pro-family victory in California") The city attorneys in Los Angeles and San Francisco also filed a request with the Supreme Court to invalidate the amendment's approval, arguing that it deprives homosexuals of ...<< MORE >>

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama's aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.
Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as "Aunti Zeituni" in Obama's memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango's case.
Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a ... << MORE >>

Yet another study backs up the contention that the mainstream news media's coverage of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is more favorable than its coverage of Republican John McCain.
An analysis by the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism finds that 57 percent of the print and broadcast stories about John McCain since the political conventions were decidedly negative, while only 14 percent were positive. The study concludes that 29 percent of the mainstream media's coverage of Barack Obama was negative.
Tim Graham, director of media analysis at the Media Research Center, says the study affirms what many observers have known for quite some ...<< MORE >>
The president of a pro-family organization in Massachusetts says public schools in the Bay State have been negatively influenced by homosexual marriage. Mass Resistance president Brian Camenker says that immediately after Massachusetts courts made homosexual marriage legal in his state, many schools had assemblies celebrating the decision. Those assemblies featured pro-homosexual speakers, teachers who announced that they would "marry" their same-sex partners, and homosexuals who announced they would pursue adoption.
Camenker points out the homosexual agenda was even promoted in middle schools and elementary schools. "David Parker was the parent of a kindergartner in Lexington, where they were telling the kids about same-sex families being normal just like their ...<< MORE >>

The Associated Press A famed fireworks company is pulling out of a holiday boat parade because "Christmas" was dropped from the event's name. Fireworks by Grucci won't lend its sparkle to Patchogue's Nov. 23 parade - decorated yachts on the Patchogue River - because the organizers have renamed it the Patchogue Holiday Boat Parade. It was the Patchogue Christmas Boat Parade last year, when the Grucci company donated $5,000 worth of fireworks. The company's vice president, Philip Butler, who has criticized the secularization of Christmas in the past, said parade organizers were "using all the themes of Christmas and plagiarizing all those themes."
